App Privacy Policy

This policy applies to the CNCjogger iOS app only.

Overview

CNCjogger is a wireless CNC jog controller app that communicates with your device via Bluetooth Low Energy. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle information when you use the CNCjogger app. Spoiler alert: the CNCjogger app doesn't send us anything from you.

What Data We Collect

We do not collect personal data.

CNCjogger:

• Does not require an account, login, or sign-up
• Does not track or analyze your usage
• Does not collect analytics or telemetry
• Does not require an internet connection
• Does not transmit your data to our servers

Bluetooth Usage

CNCjogger uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with the CNCjogger Stick dongle connected to your computer. This communication:

• Stays entirely between your iPhone and the dongle
• Does not connect to the internet
• Does not store communication logs on your device

When you first launch the app, iOS will ask for Bluetooth permission. We require this permission to discover and communicate with your CNCjogger Stick.

Local Data Storage

CNCjogger stores the following settings locally on your device only using iOS UserDefaults:

• Selected CNC software (Carbide Motion, UGS, Easel, Mach3, OpenBuilds CONTROL, or Custom Layout)
• Custom key mappings (if you set up a Custom Layout)

These preferences:

• Never leave your device
• Are not synced to iCloud or any cloud service
• Are not transmitted to our servers or third parties
• Are deleted if you uninstall the app

Third-Party Services

CNCjogger does not use:

• Advertising networks
• Analytics services
• Crash reporting tools
• Cloud storage
• Third-party SDKs that collect data

Children's Privacy

CNCjogger is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information immediately.

Security

Your local settings are protected by iOS's standard security mechanisms. Because we do not transmit data to external servers, there is no data in transit to intercept.

Your Rights and Choices

Bluetooth permission: You can revoke CNCjogger's Bluetooth access at any time in iOS Settings > CNCjogger > Bluetooth. The app will not be able to communicate with the CNCjogger Stick without this permission.

Deleting your data: CNCjogger stores only local preferences (selected CNC software and custom key mappings). To delete all stored data, uninstall the app — iOS removes all app data automatically. There is no server-side data to delete because we never collect or transmit your information.

Data deletion requests: If you have any concerns about your data, contact us at info [at] motorharpdesign [dot] com. Because we do not collect personal data, there is nothing to retrieve or delete on our end, but we are happy to confirm this for you.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of CNCjogger after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
